Venice Public Holidays

Which are the public holidays in Venice? When do the museums and monuments close? Which are the best festivals to experience in the city?

It's always a good idea to look up the public holidays and observances of the city you're travelling to, so as not to miss out on any of the important festivities. It'll also give you an idea of when the museums and other places of interest are closed.
