Venice Water Taxis

Venice's fleet of water taxis consists of large, luxurious boats that can transport groups of up to 10 people.

The public transportation in Venice is relatively expensive. This includes, of course, the city’s water taxis. A relaxing boat trip down Venezia’s canals is only worthwhile for those visiting Venice in a large group (taxis can carry up to 10 people).

Prices

The rates of the city’s water taxis are fixed depending on the different companies, the distance and the number of people.

A Water Taxi from Venice Marco Polo Airport to the city centre costs approximately between 105 (US$ 110.47) and 135 (US$ 142.03).

The price from Venezia Santa Lucia railway station and Piazzale Roma to the city centre is between 65 (US$ 68.38) and 100 (US$ 105.21).
